Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Psychology program is structured in accordance with the HEC Undergraduate Education Policy V 1.1 to provide students with a comprehensive and interdisciplinary understanding of human behavior, mental processes, and societal dynamics. Over eight semesters, the curriculum manages a progressive development of students' theoretical knowledge, analytical skills, and practical competencies through practical assignments, case studies, research projects, and interactive discussions on contemporary psychological trends. Graduates are prepared for careers in counseling, clinical psychology, educational psychology, human resource management, health psychology, and research, as well as further studies in psychology and related interdisciplinary areas.

Program Education Objectives

• Help students develop a strong foundation in basic and advanced psychological concepts, enabling them to engage with contemporary psychological issues in socio-culturally diverse environments
• Prepare students to effectively apply psychological theories and principles in real-life contexts, addressing mental health, behavior, well-being, educational, and organizational challenges

Program Mission

To provide opportunities for the development of relevant knowledge and skills needed in supervised practice and psychological research.

Program Description

The Master of Science in Clinical Psychology program is structured in alignment with the HEC Graduate Education Policy 2023, spanning four semesters with a blend of core courses and advanced electives allowing specialization in Clinical Psychology. Students engage in rigorous academic training including independent research culminating in a thesis, advanced training in qualitative and quantitative research methods, and specialized internships for psychodiagnosis, psychometric assessment, and psychotherapy. Graduates are prepared for careers in academia, research institutions, clinical settings, corporate organizations, and policy making.
